What is B.Sc. Critical Care Tech?

Critical Care Medicine is an important specialty, and it will be the fourth cause of death in 2020. B.Sc., Critical Care Technology is a 4-year course in which the students will be trained in the art and science of:

1) Cardiology where they can learn Electrocardiogram (ECG), Echocardiography, Computerized Tread Mill Test (TMT), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)

2) Intensive Respiratory Care and they are exposed to Mechanical Ventilator, Non-Invasive Ventilation, High Flow Oxygen Therapy and Pulmonary Function Test (PFT),

3) Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT), where they are exposed to Hemodialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) and Hemoperfusion

4) They are exposed full-fledged Operation Theatre Technology

5) They will learn the state of art of Critical Care.

Critical care technology salary in India per month  

The salary depends on your designation. It also depends on which company you are associated with. If you have got placement directly from the college, then your job standard also depends on your college. At the initial level you will get a salary between 12k to 25 k per month and maximum INR 30K to 50k per month. With few years of experience, you can get INR 80K To 1 lakh per month with additional skills or certifications. 

 ELIGIBILITY:

            A pass in 10+2 or an equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized Board or University with minimum 35% marks in each subject separately including English for all categories.
