What is BSc Anesthesia?

Under B.Sc. in Anesthesia Technology program, the eligible candidates are provided training in all the types of equipment that are used for anesthesia, different anesthesia agents, the techniques that need to be used for giving anesthesia as well as its allowable dosage which depends on the patient and operational conditions. The subjects that are taught during the three years of graduation include Anesthesia Technology, Medical Technology, Fundamentals of Operation Theatre, and Anesthesia and Operation Theatre techniques.

Eligibility:

The eligibility criteria for the students to successfully apply for B.Sc. in Anesthesia Technology is as given below:

  • 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Along with this, the candidates might also need to clear the entrance exam which is compulsory for admission to some of the institutes.
