B.Sc Nursing
(Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is a 4-year Under Graduate (UG) course
through which the students are trained in the concepts of nursing theoretically
and practically. B.Sc Nursing is one such course which is offered to students
who have completed their Class 12 with Biology as one of the subjects. While
some states accept NEET scores for admission in B.Sc Nursing,
certain states conduct their own admission process or entrance exam. The course
can be availed at any recognized institute or University, with the apt
recognition from the authorized body.
In India,
experts have come together and formed a curriculum that is followed across
India in all government and private institutions offering the B.Sc Nursing
course. The course has been designed to train and qualify all aspirants into
graduates who will be able to practice the art in different settings. It is

As per
the Indian Nursing Council, the course is offered under the choice-based
credit system (CBCS). The program will be specifically designed by the
college or university that will offer the program, but all educational
institutions will have to abide by the regulations specified by INC. As per the

The program has been designed to train the students in generalistic nursing practices. B.Sc in
Nursing Eligibility Criteria:
The
eligibility criteria for B.Sc Nursing are certain requirements that one must
meet for the admissions. Candidates can check out the criteria mentioned below

All Candidates must have crossed at least 17 years
of age as of 31st December of the year they wish to seek admissions. The
Maximum age limit for the course is at 35 years of age by 31st December of the
same year.

Candidates must have cleared the class 12 board
examinations from one of the recognized board educations, in the stream of
science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English. Candidates will
have to individually pass all the mentioned subjects.
·
Candidates will further be required to have
obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
· Since all admissions will be based on the performance in the entrance exam, the candidates will be required to sit for either a state-level entrance exam or a university-level entrance exam.
