Industrial Engineering

Why Industrial Engineering

Students enrolled to the course are taught advanced lessons in the design and installation of integrated systems for men and materials, and equipment and processes, for increasing the productivity of goods, and detailing optimum standards of quality which are economically viable. These engineers are concerned with planning, measuring, and controlling all activities within the organization, besides designing the production process for a product.

M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering is related to the management of industrial processes, and to concepts, development, and implementation of systems involving human being and other resources about engineering. Students are taught methods to manage and optimally utilize resources available by applying mathematical and engineering tools.

Industrial Engineering is also known as Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, and Production Engineering. It aims to develop means to save energy, time, money, materials, and other useful resources. This stream is related to management of industrial processes.

Why Study M.Tech in Industrial Engineering?

here could be varied number of reasons for pursuing a certain degree in a particular field/course, however, the common reasons which makes students opt for MTech Industrial Engineering & Management could be:
