M. Tech CSE Data Science & Analytics is a two-year post-graduate programme with an objective to impart knowledge on techniques and theories related to data science which includes statistics, data mining, data warehousing and data visualisation. The programme enables students to apply the knowledge of computing techniques and tools in the field of Big Data for solving real world problems encountered in various industries.
           This programme is useful for students who wish to develop and utilise their skills to achieve a thorough knowledge of data science and engineering. Some of these are the ability to aggregate interpret and manage a large amount of heterogeneous data resources independent of the hardware and software resources. Eligibility:

• The eligibility basis for M.Tech. in Data Analytics are as follow:
• Individuals must have a degree in B.E. or B.Tech in subjects like IT, Physics, CS, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
• Students must have a minimum aggregate of 55%-60% marks and above from a recognized institution in the mentioned subjects.
• Individuals with a degree of MCA or M.Sc. in either field of IT, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Integrated M.Sc/M.Tech in Mathematics & Computing, Integrated M.Sc in Statistics & Informatics, or equivalent examination with aggregate marks of 50% and above are also suitable for admission.
• Few universities conduct counselling sessions or personal interviews for admission.
• NOTE: 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility criteria is given to the candidate who belongs to SC/ ST/ OBC.
