M.Tech. Automobile
Engineering or Master of Technology in Automobile Engineering is a two-year postgraduate Automobile Engineering
course. Automobile or Automotive engineering that deals with designing the vehicle,
manufacturing new products/new vehicles, repairing, servicing vehicles. The
course also deals with designing, developing, manufacturing, testing, and
repairing and servicing automobiles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters
etc & the related sub-Engineering systems. For the perfect blend of
manufacturing and designing automobiles, Automobile Engineering uses the
features of different elements of Engineering such as mechanical, electrical,
electronic, software and safety engineering. Automobile Engineers are mainly
classified into three streams like Product or Design Engineers, Development Engineers,
and Manufacturing Engineers. Automobile Engineers are mainly divided into three
streams such as production or design engineering focuses on design components,
testing of parts, coordinating tests, and system of a car; Development domain
is concerned with performance, durability, and speed of the vehicle; and the
Manufacturing domain deals with the creation and assembling the whole parts of
automobiles. The automotive engineering field is research-intensive and
involves the direct application of mathematical models and formulas.
Why Study M.Tech in Automobile
Engineering?
M.Tech in Automobile Engineering provides students the
professional skills and techniques that are required to design, manufacture,
and maintain the mechanism of automobiles. The course helps to strengthen their
ability so that they can easily resolve complex technical issues. It prepares
them to work efficiently in close collaborations.
