CLAT 2018: Common Law Admission Test is all India level national examination for LLB and LLM aspirants. Every year one university takes this competitive exam behalf of 18 National Law Universities. CLAT 2018 Application Form
Common Law Admission Test forms will be available from 1st week of January. Applicant has to visit the official website to fill online CLAT 2018 application form. A candidate also has to register their self before online form submission. Applicant has to upload photo, signature and other important documents at the time of registration. Moreover, the student has to do choice filling where he has to give preference to NLU. An applicant also has to produce domicile certificate and caste certificate (if required).
Fees can be paid via online mode with the help of Debit/Credit card or Net Banking. A student can also choose to pay via offline mode through bank challan. NLU will not refund money if candidate doesn’t want to appear in the exam.
Just like entrance test NLU has there on the set of eligibility criteria, which needs to be followed by every candidate. Board can reject any application which is incomplete.
- 12th pass with minimum 45% marks for general category, while 40% marks are required for ST and SC.
- Current year students of 12th class can also apply for the exam
- Upper age limit for general candidate is 20 years and age limit for reservation category is 22 years.
- The candidate has to produce the certificate to get age relaxation.
- LL.B pass certificate from government recognized university or college.
- Minimum required marks are 55%, while SC/ST category will need 50%.
- There is no upper age limit to apply for CLAT 2018.
CLAT 2018 Exam Pattern

For Undergraduate courses
NLU will take the computer based test and question will be multiple choice questions. Candidate will get 2 hours to complete his paper and score one marks for every right answer while attracting penalty of the ¼ mark for every wrong answer. There will be total 200 question and 200 marks.

NLU will take CBT exam and there will be 150 MCQ. Candidate will get 120 minutes to solve the paper. Each question will carry one mark, while wrong answer will award you with ¼ marks penalty.

CLAT Admit Card 2018
NLU will release admit card 15 days before the examination. Board will not send hall ticket by Mail or post. So every candidate has to open official website and download it with the help of username and password.
We are expecting that board will declare CLAT admit card in the third week of April 2018. Every candidate has to carry hall ticket at the exam venue along with that candidate also has to keep government approved id card.
CLAT 2018 Answer Key
Candidates can look for the answer key as soon as the examination is over. It will help students to know what will be their score and what the chances of getting success in the exam. Based on the answer key one can predict his admission too. Official answer key will be available on official website, while the candidate can download unofficial answer key through various coaching centers.
CLAT 2018 Result
We are expecting that NLU will declare the result in May, but it is also possible that CLAT 2018 result will come in the first week of June 2018. CLAT cut off 2018
Cut off marks will announce after the result declaration. Every college and institute may have a different cutoff, so the candidate with good merit will have a higher chance of getting admission into the desired college. Apart from that cut off is determined from a total number of students, available seats, the difficulty of paper and other things. Reserve category cutoff and open category cut off will be different.
CLAT 2018 Counselling
NLU will set a counseling committee, and its procedure will start from 1st or 2nd week of June 2018. Candidate with higher merit list will have a greater chance to get a seat. Admission is purely based on the merit-cum-preference basis. Candidates have to pay INR 50000 as counseling fee if he got admission into any college.
